Short Review: With huge expectations from director and Vidyut came up with Hathi Mere Sathi returns but movie missed mile stone by short margin.
Direction: The Mask and Scorpion King fame Chuck Russell made his debut in Bollywood with this movie. He never stick with any particular genre. This time he tried so Indian stuff but I feel that he got some success but we were expecting more. Inclusion of love triangle was the worst decision for this movie.
Performance: Martial art specialist Vidyut Jammwal gave another power pack performance with great bonding with animals. Pooja Sawat made good debut but Asha bhat ‘s role just for love triangle thing.
Script: Great to see some message was the target of the makers. It is really victory of script as some message delivered to the audience. If they removed desi Indian tadka from the script, it may be another of the best script in this genre.
Dialogues: Action genre need some powerful dialogues and here this movie failed to give punches through dialogue. e.g. “Chhottu ab bada ho gaya hain”.
Cinematography: Huge round of applause for Canadian cinematographer Mark Irwin for capturing brilliant locations, greenery and water ways from Thailand.
Music: This section was not up to the mark but this genre does not required very great quality music. Although song “Garje Gajraj Hamara” was good one.
Box-Office: As it opened lower than expected figure, it will gain the momentum on weekend. Look like it will earn 30–40 crores as lifetime collection.
Last Words: Enjoy desi Jungle Book with family in cinema halls
